Stages of our Rug Cleaning

First, your rug is examined for damages and measured.

If suitable, your rug will be treated with our rug beater machine, which removes dust and debris from the rug.

Your rug is then vacuumed and is ready for cleaning.

Before the rug is thoroughly wetted with water and rug shampoo is applied, we check for colour fastness.

Rug is gently scrubbed with our rug scrubbing machine to agitate and clean the stains and dirt.

If the rug is not suitable for heavy wetting, a pre-spray is applied, the rug is agitated with a gentle brush or bonnet pad to loosen up dirt, and thoroughly extracted with our carpet extraction machine.

Your rug is placed in a rug spinning machine to remove and rinse excess water to shorten drying time.

Your rug is then placed on our racking system until fully dry.

Your rug is then rolled, ready for delivery or collection.
Please note that not all rugs can be cleaned. If your rug is damaged (ripped, has excessive fraying, delaminated backing), rug is well worn and unstable, or infested with carpet moth we may refuse to accept and clean that rug.
