ULV FOGGING EXPLAINED
Ultra-low volume fogging is a cold fogging, applied using a fogging machine. The application of disinfectant uses large volumes of air at low pressures to transform the liquid into droplets that are dispersed into the atmosphere and then settle onto surfaces.
Prior to fogging the area should be cleaned – or fogging can also be carried out prior to cleaning to give peace of mind to those entering the area – to carry out work.
Our technician is fully trained, using all appropriate standard PPE (min P3 safety mask, goggles, bodysuit, and shoe covers)The product that we are mainly using for COVID 19 Fogging is Sanosil S010, though we do also have 2 others and will use the most appropriate for your premises.

How is Coronavirus (Covid-19) spread?
Coronavirus (COVID-19) is spread in sneeze or cough droplets.
You could get the virus if you:

come into close contact with someone who has the virus and is coughing or sneezing

touch surfaces that someone who has the virus has coughed or sneezed on and bring your unwashed hands to your face (eyes, nose or mouth)
How long the virus can survive on surfaces
Common household disinfectants will kill the virus on surfaces. Clean the surface first and then use a disinfectant.
Coronavirus can survive for:

up to 72 hours on plastic and stainless steel

less than 4 hours on copper

less than 24 hours on cardboard

COVID 19 information and protocols
The Cleaning Corporation is working within the guidelines of the ECDC Technical Report March 2020 – General Settings, cleaning options for all types premises – during the COVID 19 pandemic; and as per government-issued: Return to return work safety protocol.
All of our client sites must comply with the requirements in the return to work safety protocol, to ensure the safety of all staff, including our own working at your site.
We are happy to provide any guidance and advice that you may need at this time in regard to your cleaning service, do not hesitate to ask.
Remember that minimum - daily cleaning is required to all regular contact surfaces – in line with the protocol - this should be carried out by your own staff using a disposable wipe, cleaning cloth and/or cleaning agent (price list available for suitable items), this also gives the individual peace of mind and reduces anxiety regarding the cleanliness of the surface. In particular, desktop/keyboard/mouse and telephones including headsets, should be cleaned before and after use each day, hot desking is not encouraged and if it is in place, items should be cleaned before and after every use.
Wipes are then disposed of (regular waste – not recycling). Waste is held for 72 hours.
Staff must have safe access to these items (pre-wet wipes or wipes and sanitiser/hand sanitiser etc..) Hand sanitiser should also be placed at the entrance/exits of your premises and on desktops if possible.
A one-way system should also be introduced to assist with social distancing requirements if at all possible.

Certified ULV Fogging (Ultra-low volume) fogging for disinfecting is a cold fogging performed by a certified specialist wearing the appropriate PPE to disinfect air and surfaces.

Touchpoint Cleaning- contact regular wiping and disinfecting of touch surfaces, commonly used surfaces, like taps, sinks, door handles, and lots more throughout the premises using disposable wipes with suitable disinfecting agents for contamination control, this can be performed as often as required by you.

Disinfecting is carried out after cleaning, with emphasis on high contact surfaces – handles / switches / door push plates / entry buttons / dispensers / taps / handrails etc...

Floor Maintenance- regular maintenance and deep cleaning of floors including all types of vinyl, stone, ceramic, and more.

Carpet & Upholstery cleaning–deep cleaning using Hot Water / Steam Extraction for a full bacterium kill. We can provide a fogging service post cleaning for full peace of mind.
It is vital, in order to prevent cross-contamination and to ensure adequate supplies of our materials for our own staff, carrying out our regular cleaning duties – that our chemicals/cloths / PPE -gloves, etc. / and equipment at your site are not used by anyone other than Cleaning Corporation Staff.
All of our staff have completed the Republic of Ireland, Coronavirus Safety Training; and certs for the staff at your site can be issued on request, self-declaration forms are also being issued to all staff on a fortnightly basis, as well as daily timesheet completion and daily contact log forms.
As the country commences the roadmap to get back to what will now be our new normal, we are providing essential services to businesses that are open or re-opening.
Essential residential services will begin once it’s deemed safe to do so by the Irish Government.
